Being defeated by life’s circumstances has never been the motto for rap artist Tee Stunna. Originally from Lauderhill, FL, Tavaurus Huntley, who goes by the stage name Tee Stunna. The Floridian grew up overcoming obstacles and experiencing a life that he expresses through his music and lyrical abilities, “Life was real hard but I made it out the struggle.” In 2009, Tee Stunna was signed to NFL cornerback Asante Samuel’s music label Deepside Entertainment.
Through this partnership, Tee Stunna released his first mix tape “Snap or Try”, in 2014, which gain major momentum with the singles “Walk Light” and “Dat Part”. He uses his artistic talents to show his listeners that no matter what he has gone through in life, he will always end up on top.
Tee Stunna is becoming a true force to be reckoned with in the music industry. That force is driven by his constant self-motivation, determination and the discovery that he is not a product of his environment, “when you’re from where I grew up at you believe that anything is possible.” Tee Stunna is showing the world that he is far from stopping anytime soon. He has been putting a lot of his time into the studio, with his anticipated new mixtape “Rejected” set to release summer 2015.
Through his mixtape, he is inspiring his listeners to not let rejection stop them, but to use it as motivation to accomplish goals. He displays his relentless spirit and hard work through his single “Early Morning Grind” featured on the mixtape. Along with mixtapes and hot new singles, he is releasing videos for “Walk Light” and “Dat Part” in the very near future and is filming a movie based off of his mixtape “Rejected”. The movie tells the story of a young man who has been rejected his entire life by others and shows how he overcomes those hurdles. Tee Stunna has shown everyone that no matter the environment that you grow up in, one can accomplish whatever their hearts and minds desire.
One of his greatest accomplishments thus far for the rapper is “producing smiles on my family’s face.” Music is not the only goal for Tee Stunna, he also looks to inspire and touch people with his musical creativity. He hopes through music he will be the motivation that others needs to better their lives.
